Siam benzoin comes from Styrax tonkinensis and contains primarily benzoic acid esters with a vanillin-like aroma, making it preferred by fine fragrance and pharmaceutical refiners. Sumatra benzoin comes from Styrax paralleloneurus and contains significant cinnamic acid. We supply Siam grade.
Yes. Many incense producers take a proportion of tears for top-note visual appeal and almonds or block for mass formulation. We palletise them separately and list individual weights on the packing list.
500 kg (25 cartons of 20 kg) palletised. Because benzoin is a high-value commodity compared to bulk resins, we accommodate smaller initial trial shipments.
No. Styrax tonkinensis is not CITES-listed. Standard phytosanitary and origin documents apply for export out of Thailand.
Every lot is sampled at the Bangkok yard and tested by independent lab analysis prior to container stuffing. The certificate of analysis accompanies the shipping documentation.
