Cocoa beans (coco products) — questions buyers ask

Answers from the trading desk. If yours is not here, put it in the enquiry and it will be answered in the reply.

Standard export shipments feature a bean count between 85 and 100 beans per 100 grams, ensuring plump, well-developed beans with superior nib yield.

We dry our beans to 7.0% (±0.5%) moisture before bagging in breathable jute. We line the shipping container with moisture-trap paper and install hanging desiccant poles along the container ceiling.

Every export lot undergoes a cut test conforming to ISO 2451 standards, assessing 300 cut beans for fermentation percentage, slaty beans, internal mold, insect damage, and germinated seeds.
